Nurse Assistant Program

• HYBRID ONLINE THEORY & IN-PERSON CLINICAL
• FULL-TIME: MON-FRI 7AM-3PM (3 WEEKS)
• PART-TIME: SAT-SUN 7AM-3PM (12 WEEKS)

 A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in patient care, offering essential support to individuals who need help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.  People interested in entry-level nursing typically start with roles like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)  This program provides hands-on experience in healthcare and can serve as a stepping stone to advanced nursing careers, such as Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN). 

•  Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) 
•  Mobility and Positioning 
•  Monitoring and Recording Vital Signs 
•  Patient Safety & Comfort 
•  Assisting Nurses with Medical Procedures 
•  Communication & Documentation 

• Must be 16 years of age 
• Minors require parental consent
• Valid Drivers License
• Valid Social Security 
• Criminal Clearance / Livescan

• Submit a current health and physical form, immunization records and current TB test complete by a Physician (MD) or Nurse practitioner (NP)
• Must be completed within the last year and not expire during program.

• Devices must be no older than 10 years.. Devices need the following capabilities:
• App Download
• Wi-Fi Access
• Camera
• Email Access
• Microphone

  Clinical sites are essential for hands-on experience, allowing nurse assistants to practice their skills in real healthcare settings under supervision.
